The number of upgrades these phones bring over their predecessors is nothing short of amazing so let's take a look at 5 of those features of the Galaxy A72 that are typically reserved for its flagship phones. Galaxy A72 has a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display at 6.7".

Higher refresh rate displays make moving content look and feel smoother and snappier and make the most noticeable difference when it comesto gaming. They are increasingly popular in modern smartphones, particularly in the premium market. So it's nice to see Samsung making this availablein affordable mid-tier handsets as well. Not only that the display can go up to 800nits of brightness so outdoor viewing isn't an issue at all.

Stereo speakers aren’t as common as theyought to be perhaps due to the trend of bezel-less phones. Samsung's flagships have this feature alreadybut it's the first time, Samsung is bringing stereo speakers to the Galaxy A range of devices. If you have experienced or lived with a stereo-speakerphone even briefly, you know that adding an extra audio channel can make your audio experiencemore immersive.

Samsung is including a 3x optical zoom camerain that quad camera setup. This can also do 30x space zoom somethingthat has remained exclsuive to Samsung's flagship phone until now. Not only that there's also Optical image stablizationbuilt in which will make sure you get steady video as well as blur-free photos.

This also helps take better night photos. The main sensor is 64MP and the phone has pro a video mode built in this time again which was reserved for the company’s flagship smartphones. So if you want control over how the phone should record the video then the pro video mode is for you. Also, Samsung has partnered with Snapchat to bring custom filters right into the stock camera app.

The Galaxy A72 also features an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance which means you can submerge the phone underwater for up to30 minutes in 1 meter deep. The A72 has a mammoth 5000mAh battery which can easily last the phone a whole day without needing to refill in between. In fact, Samsung says it can deliver 2 days' worth of juice with a single charge which is a little exaggerated but you can comfortably go a whole day with this battery.

25W charging is supported too, though Samsung is only going to ship a 15W charger in the box. Finally, the Galaxy A72 will have 3 years of major Android updates along with 4 years of security updates making the handset one of the best options in the midrange segments.
